A 60 to 90 minute live call where we walk through Tactical Hyve’s Level 1 standards, show you how to use the Candidate Development Program to close your specific gaps, and answer questions. You’ll see how we think about passing and how to aim your training at that target.
Video Review
The first 15 students who enroll can submit up to 2 short shooting clips (for example: draw to first shot, reloads, or a short drill). We’ll break them down and give you direct feedback so you know exactly what to fix next.
Priority Level 1 Scheduling Window
When you complete the Candidate Development Program and feel you meet the standards we lay out inside, we’ll give you a dedicated window to pick from available Level 1 course dates before we open those spots more broadly. Because your application was already approved for an interview, completing this program can replace the separate interview step so you can move directly into scheduling your Level 1 course.
Your $997 Counts Toward Level 1
The Candidate Development Program is $997, but it is not money “on top of” Level 1.
- When you decide to move into Level 1, your full $997 is credited toward the $3,000 tuition
- If your Level 1 application has already been approved for an interview, completing this program means you can skip the separate interview step and go straight to choosing your Level 1 course date
- That means you only pay the remaining $2,003 for the full Instructor Certification
- Total investment to go from training in this program to becoming a fully certified Tactical Hyve Instructor is still $3,000, not $3,997

Why We Don’t Just Let You In Anyway
Anyone officially wearing a Tactical Hyve logo is someone we’d trust to teach our own family how to shoot. That means:
- We do not lower the bar just to collect tuition
- We do not hope you “figure it out” during a high-stakes certification
- We would rather say “not yet” than pass instructors who aren’t ready

How long do I have access? +
You get ongoing, ‘lifetime’ access to the program.
Can I split the $997 into payments? +
At checkout, some students may see pay-over-time options (for example, Klarna or similar providers) when paying via card. Those options are offered and managed by the payment provider, not Tactical Hyve, and allow you to spread out the $997 while we still treat it as full tuition on our side.
The official tuition for the Instructor Candidate Development Program is still $997, and every dollar of that credits toward the $3,000 Level 1 Instructor Certification when you decide to move into Level 1.
What if I finish but still don’t feel ready? +
You can take as much time as you need. Complete the program and improve your shooting and teaching skills.
When you’re ready, contact us. If your Level 1 application has already been approved for an interview, completing this program can replace the interview step and we’ll move you directly into scheduling your Level 1 course date. If you have not yet been approved for Level 1, we’ll schedule a priority interview to join the official program.
Do I have to move into Level 1 by a certain date to use my $997 credit? +
We give all students more than enough time to ramp up their teaching and shooting skills for the certification.
You have 3 years to move into Level 1 and use your credit.
What if I change my mind about being an instructor? +
Even if you never move forward with Level 1, this program will still pay off. You’ll become a much better shooter, with cleaner mechanics, higher standards, and a repeatable training system you can use for life. You’ll also learn how to explain and coach the fundamentals clearly, so you can safely and effectively teach friends and family, even if you never teach a formal class.
If you later decide you do want to pursue certification again, your full $997 still counts as a credit toward the $3,000 Level 1 Instructor Program when you decide to move into Level 1.
